https://t.co/HsihFJNsfu Pleased to confirm that Wandering has won the Audience Choice Award at @liftoffnetwork's January 2025 sessions, which is my first award as a filmmaker and a huge milestone for me.
Thanks so much to everyone who voted and showed their support!
@BrainAblaze My epilepey is refractory and can't be fixed via surgery. VNS is the only the option left to reduce them, but neurologists were honest with me. I have a higher risk of dying younger (due to SUDEP). Not a threat, just a sympathetic reminder.
May I at be peace whenever it comes.
@SkyNews@emmabirchley This is absolutely disgusting. Those police should be fired and jailed. Dragging him through gravel and mocking his stabbing comments while he can barely breathe.
But what will it be? "We're really sorry, we made a mistake. Bye."
Makes me sick to my stomach.
@Keir_Starmer You can't keep saying "this is so bad, we're so sad and our thoughts are with the families" and then do nothing about it.
This country is rotting.
@BrainAblaze I've endured status epilepticus 5 times. Almost broke my neck during a seizure fall once, and even paramedics said to me "you were VERY lucky".
As my seizures can only be tamed via a VNS, I'm at higher risk of SUDEP, which is never a nice feeling.
@BrainAblaze Well 2 decades ago I was 11 and in my final year of primary school. I probably didn't even know what epilepsy was.
Seizures began occurring faintly during the end of 2012, when I was 18. I wasn't diagnosed until just over a year later. And now things are really bad.
Playing as Bentley is normally really fun, but here it's just annoying. You have to be tactical yet quick due to the 1 min timer. Gnomes spring out of nowhere, causing cheap losses (as seen here) when you target the moles making it a matter of luck to a degree. Drives me crazy.
Honestly the most irritating mission across all 3 #Spyro games, and the Reignited trilogy did little to fix it.
The camera angle is awful (requiring constant manual adjustment), the gnomes constantly pop out of nowhere and get in the way, and it just becomes a chaotic mess.
I've been seizure free for a week today, and my last seizure was just an aura. Haven't had an absence seizure in 10 days.
My VNS implant seems to be helping. Let's see where things go from here... #EpilepsyAwareness#epilepsy
@Evanis Sadly I jinxed it. I had a focal seizure a few hours later. It was down to severe stress that's overwhelmed me today. It has helped, but not to the full potential yet. I hope yours eventually does too. How long have you had it?
@Fact The past when dinosaurs were just chilling, before humanity ever existed and fucked things up entirely. I know it'd be short lived, but hey, dinosaurs.
