A W Gadsby 40 brought Newton to 152-9 off the 40 overs.

This wasn’t quite enough with CDCC getting home with a ball to spare despite 3 wickets from J Waterman.

Today is the start of our allstars and dynamo’s down the ground starting from 6pm. We have nearly double the amount of kids signed up compared to last year. Bar will be open for mums and dads watching and to who ever fancies coming down and having a beer in the sunshine.

Great start to our league campaign yesterday with a win. CDCC batted first and posted 247. Steve Lawrence with 107* and Ben Chislett 64. Compton bowled @tauntondeanecc out for 92. @weechywoo pick of the bowlers taking 5 wickets for 16 runs. Great win for the team
