@JustinAion @BFranckoTeaches It’s about equity not equality. Equality means treating every student the same but no two students are the same. Equity means making sure every student has the support they need to be successful. I vote to give the student credit.
@SpencerTracyTV@WTEN My son would love to be interviewed but after reconsidering my tweet, we don’t think it’s appropriate to be complaining about not being able to get a permit when so many people are sick and dying. It is important in his world, but in the big picture it is just an inconvenience.
THREAD: For too long we have assumed that everything taught in K-12 schools is important. There has been a fixation on covering an inordinate amount of standards at a fast and fixed pace and a general disregard for 21st century skills like self-direction and self-management. 1/2
I have never tweeted before but I feel compelled to do so today. My Uncle Bob, 81 years old, passed away today. He was admitted to the hospital yesterday in the evening, tested positive for Covid 19 and died around 8:15 this evening. Please stay home and stop the spread!!!
@thebriandineen Today Jax and I kept our math mind working at home by counting the number of licks it takes to eat peanut butter. A special thank you to my son, Conor, for editing the video and putting in the cool features!
