@DocStrangelove2 This isn't a sword. The closest analogy to a european/old world weapon you could find for it is an axe.
And yeah, they're pretty shit after they've been swung once.
@Wormler@furrypawjob_ Buddy, they're canning volunteers, which will inevitably increase the reliance on conscripts who *by definition* do not want to be there.
@TheMigrantKing @Ham1231984@nikicaga Nowhere. You would be literally nowhere. You would have nothing.
I do not think you have any comprehension of just to what degree american societiy and economic development relies upon importing talent.
@itsOmak_ That's cool and all. But we're *not* before the MCU. The MCU has existed for 15, nearly 20 years now.
If you are still judging things by how they were before the MCU, you are massively out of touch.
Cap is one of the biggest superheroes on the planet
@InfamousDenton@quasi_hum4an@soonrightaway@AuthenticSWTS Because if he knows what will happen ahead of time, there is no choice there. A person can never make a choice if the answer is pre-determined. It is pre-determined if a 3rd party *knows*, not guesses, or presumes, but *knows* what will happen.
@InfamousDenton@quasi_hum4an@soonrightaway@AuthenticSWTS I don't know how much more explicit this can be. 'God knows everything'. If God knows everything, free will does not exist. You have to choose between free will, and God's supposed omniscience.
One abolishes any of God's authority to judge, the other is counter to the Bible.
@CassetteGun@soonrightaway@AuthenticSWTS Yes, but if God is omnipotent AND omniscient, choice is an illusion.
It is all pre-determined. God knows, from the moment our souls come into the universe, everything we will ever do in our lives. We have no choice in that worldview. There is no doing good 'of our own accord'.
@InfamousDenton@quasi_hum4an@soonrightaway@AuthenticSWTS So, are we all just a TV show for him then? Entertainment?
Is all of this, all the suffering and misery and murderous savagery, just his answer to Game of Thrones on Saturday nights?
I thought he was supposed to be omnibenevolent as well?
