@bonkkettle Love them or hate them the people over at Critical role get asked this all the time. most of them got stated with fan dubbing communities for very little compensation and then used that portfolio to apply for paid gigs.
I would start out looking at some task rabbit sites.

Day 12:
Went to go make the power cables and found they were too thick for the ends that I bought so need to look at a different cable. So I made everything neat and tidy ready for cables. Then replaced a HDD that Failed yesterday. More to do tomorrow

Day 11:
Running into issues with MediaWiki ever since opening up to some friends I am now getting this issue. I have tried updating the cache settings in the config. It works if I change my password but will happen again the next day. *sigh* tomorrows issue.

Day 10:
I've been quiet for a few days due to work being very busy. I got back on the wagon by helping out a friend with their first home lab. And great opportunity to host an offsite Raspberry Pi that I impulse bought as they just so happened to have 8gb stock

Day:9
I got distracted from updating the wiki and uptime Kuma and started cleaning the upstairs cabinet.
I will have to gut it and replace the @Ubiquiti switch that has a port die every week.
(No STLs available yet but soon)

Day 8:
Continuing troubleshooting NUT. looks like the issue isn't with the UPS and probably lies with NUT Drivers.
On the plus side I learnt about SNMP and found some more cool software
Tomorrows task UptimeKuma/Push notifications, and maybe Tandoor Recipes.

Day 7
Starting to learn more about SNMP. Starting to get annoyed with the junk data the UPS's are reporting. Early googling suggest it could be a battery issue even though it reports correctly on the UPS Web UI
I can at least get working up and down reporting
@sudo_overflow@CoolerMaster@cm_aunz They are plug and play and it will work. They do have a high fail rate. It will definately get you by to start out. They share a 1x slot with all drive so you will loose some speed.
When you look at adding drives look at SAS cards that support IT mode (or search unraid in eBay)
@sudo_overflow@CoolerMaster@cm_aunz What SATA Card are you getting?
I have seen (And experienced) Issues with the standard cheap ebay SATA port expanders.
Look at something like this

It's what I use and is plug and play

Day 6: Hitting a brick wall with the UPS's I finally figured out the firmware updates. But NUT isn't giving me usable data and the UPS that used to work now wont connect... this will be a Day 7 problem
@Maeglin931 If you go down the MediaWiki route and have issues with "timeouts" using mariadb 10.7.4 was my solution. MariaDB must have changed something in their latest release
