Farmers in Padgampora and Dangerpora are being stopped from cultivating nearly 1,000 kanals of land they have farmed for years. Today, we joined them in sowing paddy on these very fields. Land that feeds families cannot be fenced off by bulldozers.

@OmarAbdullah government busy threatening protesters has no answer for farmers. By rejecting the PDP’s Land Protection Bill despite repeated appeals by @mehboobamufti, government has chosen land grabs over livelihoods.

J&K is in the midst of a health emergency. Cancer is taking lives every single day, yet those in power seem more concerned about who visits AIIMS than why it is still not fully functional.

CM @OmarAbdullah personally questioned the location of AIIMS Awantipora, never made it a priority to regularly review its progress, and has spent more time outside the state or managing party affairs than ensuring this critical institution becomes operational. Now the same government is reportedly upset because former CM @MehboobaMufti visited the site along with local MLAs.

What is even more shocking is that instead of demanding accountability for delays, AIIMS officials are being summoned to the CM’s private office tomorrow at 8 am and allegedly questioned about why a former Chief Minister visited a project that was conceived and initiated during @MehboobaMufti’s tenure.

A government backed by 50 MLAs should not be intimidated by a site visit. It should be ashamed that patients are still waiting for world-class healthcare while politics continues to take precedence over people’s lives. FYI @CM_JnK @OfficeOfLGJandK

Instead it’s launched a PR blizzard of self laudatory messages for declaring two government holidays instead of one.

Which universe does this delulu government inhabit? Do they not understand the tremendous financial distress people are in?

Devastated to hear about the cold blooded murder of a 12 year old girl in Budgam. The allegations of rape just make it all the more shocking, disconcerting & unsettling. One shudders at the thought if our children are really safe.
