Speaking to TASS, the director said that his goal with the Stalin series is to "debunk the myth" and to present the Soviet leader in a neutral manner.

Filming is planned to finish by mid-summer. The project was initially designed as a four-episode production, but expanding the format is possible depending on the results achieved.
