@LeBolshevikman It's really not hard to understand, but since chuds lack a prefrontal cortex, I'll make it simple: There is no scenario involving the destruction of the Three Gorges Dam by the United States that does not end in a nuclear holocaust killing every single American.
@RallySiamon@SlghtlySthrn@ScottishCommie They effectively are, most of APS the systems are boutique in quantity. It’s effectively a non-factor, especially when you look at what Hezbollah has done to Israel in the past few weeks.
@RallySiamon@ScottishCommie Because they don’t field the small amount of Leopard 1s they do have nearly as much as the T-64s. Be realistic, Leopard 1s effectively have IFV armor and a mediocre gun. Mind you that’s assuming you’re not just mindlessly quoting Oryx or some shit.
@RallySiamon@SlghtlySthrn@ScottishCommie They do and I think it’s a bad idea to use them unless they give them the means to at the very least attempt to stop drones. Which at least the Russians and Ukrainians try to.
@RallySiamon@ScottishCommie Yeah and they face the same exact issues as I’ve stated because. They have minimal impact on the battlefield and waste crews to FPVs.
@RallySiamon@SlghtlySthrn@ScottishCommie They upgraded the electronics, but it's still a sub-par tank to field when you have better options available, again, waste of crew resources.
@RallySiamon@ScottishCommie They do have modern 105mm, it's just not very good compared to 120mm or 125mm. HEAT and espeically HESH do not perform well against infantry even in the open, they do not use HE rounds for their M68s.
@SlghtlySthrn@ScottishCommie Compared to nearly any other tank that could be fielded it's poor. The M60 is simply far too old and insufficient to stay alive very long or deal meaningful damage, it's a waste of valuable crews.
