LONG THREAD ON SA PLAYER DRAIN🧵✈️🇿🇦

With the spotlight on SA’s player depth, specifically at franchise level during the #URC, I did a deep dive for #DM168 @dailymaverick

Around 200 SA players in Europe/Japan's premier leagues. Incredible that SA franchises remain competitive👇

[Comrade Sporty @ComradeSporty]

@andyjd23 @WillGreenwood @premrugby He’s the real deal. Who’s going to bag him- England or SA?

@bloodandmud @joshgardner Good: RG Snyman tormenting his countrymen- we will see a lot of this in URC.

[Comrade Sporty @ComradeSporty]

@bloodandmud @joshgardner Good- the Springboks. What an epic game. Very fucking good - Lukanyo Am’s behind the back pass. Will never forget it.

My big rugby question this week…

Will Joe Moody work up a sweat learning how to scrum without he’s knee and/or elbow touching the ground?

[Comrade Sporty @ComradeSporty]

@bensmithrugby You’re a twat

[Rugby Report Card @rugby_podcast]

Credit to the pumas. Travelled to Wales. Then to South Africa to play the world champs, then to Aus to play the all blacks and the wallabies. All away from home. It’s a monumental effort. All during Covid with quarantine. #AUSvARG
