Christians should know there is no building of worldly utopia.
There is no political party or leader who will improve your life.
Stop being shocked at the lies & betrayal: worldly freedoms are being removed, they are constructing the throne of antichrist.
Overly zealous rigorists will say this is wrong for them simply meeting and speaking together calling it ecumenism.
Ecumenists will use this to ignore every sizable difference between OO and EO, and if someone doesn’t ignore it calling it rigorism.
Both extremes are wrong.
In the Russian tradition we wear our cross under our shirt. Wearing it outside your shirt is showy. Also, you typically wouldn't put the cross on until after your baptism. Americans ignore both of these practices. They want to be like rappers showing off their bling.
“Let us not be afraid of being few. Let us be afraid of being lukewarm. Christ saved the world with twelve apostles, not with crowds.” - Cardinal Robert Sarah
Occult origins of the rapture:
Margaret Macdonald, a young Scottish visionary, experienced a vision of a pre-tribulation rapture after falling ill in 1830. She was involved in occult practices such as charismatic speaking in tongues, automatic writing and levitation, to which Robert Norton wrote of her and a friend, “I have seen both her and Miss Margaret Macdonald stand like statues scarcely touching the ground, evidently supernaturally.”
In 1861, a lawyer named Robert Baxter published Macdonald’s vision, proving her as the source of John Darby’s new secret rapture doctrine.
Despite the word “rapture” not appearing anywhere in the Bible or in the entirety of Church history prior to 1830, Darby's rapture delusion cemented itself into evangelical consciousness as the great American myth.
