Our thoughts on this significant and poignant day, as always, are with all those affected by the tragedy at Hillsborough and we pause in memory of the 97 fans who will never be forgotten.
BREAKING - ACC Jenny Sims says 50 people were treated for their injuries. 11 remain in hospital and are all in a stable condition and are “recovering well”. She says an investigation is still ongoing and again urges people not to speculate.
No fatalities.
2 people, including 1 child, with serious injuries but not critical by the sounds of things.
No such thing as good news in a situation like this, but had been fearing the worst with the amount of misinformation going around.
Hoping for a quick recovery for the two who are seriously injured, and full support for everyone affected.
The way Liverpool as a city has come together and shown its strength tonight is inspiring and powerful. The very best people who will never be defeated ❤️
