@Emotion78687 Not even close. This is just a surface-y cover of the song (complete with smirks). Stevie lived this song and you can hear that when she sings it.
@UAPWatchers What about this tweet causes X to determine it is “Probable Spam”???
@elonmusk work on your GD algorithm rather than posting silly memes about yourself 24/7
@UAPWatchers I remember reading “Chariots of the Gods” as a kid. Don’t know how I got ahold of it because my parents would never let me read that. Made sense to me then & still does. Man went from believing in multiple earthbound gods to a single God up above. Also explains the “missing link”

@damone_mike RIP Brigitte Bardot
(and this is the only version of The Pretenders that matters. all others are just Chrissie Hynde solo with backup musicians.)
@ThatEricAlper To be fair 32 had died by the time this song was released. So there were only 27 alive but losing 24 of them since is still depressing. Rooting for Bobby Z to outlive them all!
@bernardtjoy I have both of those piles (but I can’t say I’ve read every word of them yet… but will eventually). Since I love both Pynchon & DeLillo, all of my volumes are both in hardcover & first edition. I notice you don’t have any of DeLillo’s plays? I saw Valparaiso performed in 1999.
@JoshReynolds24 The Phillies should never have been in a 2-1 deficit to the Dodgers playing game 4 in LA. Kerkering definitely had a Bill Buckner moment where a basic play is missed but just like Buckner that screw up is not what cost his team the series.The Phillies cost the Phillies the series
@MLB@Dodgers I thought the most embarrassing way to lose would be for the Phillies to walk in the winning run. I was wrong. It was to bobble an easy hit and then throw to home rather than 1st base.
