@echipiuk Canada’s CHOSEN social contract isn’t a bank account, WE contribute so others are cared for, just as others once contributed so your family could be. GLAD you are able to be here. Be grateful.
@jkenney@AngeMAmato Jason claims Section 33’s existence makes any use of it democratic. That’s like saying the emergency brake was meant to be the driving method. A tool can be legal and still be misused. Questioning expertise is fair. Erasing it for disagreeing with power isn’t.
@GarrettKAlberta Universities already admit students on class marks, and other provinces trust teachers over government overreach tests. One disrupted exam doesn’t define a student’s worth. Diplomas should forever be optional, especially for dash 2 students.
@echipiuk It’s why you struggle so much Eva, your reasoning mistakes constitutional mechanics for democratic ethics. The existence of a power does not make its exercise democratic; that depends on how, why, and against whom it’s used.
@Zone3Garden@bzjxxllwcp@grraarrgghh Nicole there are mental health services you can access for free…long wait list due to the government but they will see you. Especially if you show them your social campaign.
"With instructional time in schools disrupted due to the teacher strike, the Nov. 2025 diploma exams will now be optional for students. The January 2026 diploma examinations and Grade 9 Provincial Achievement Tests have been cancelled."

@echipiuk Public systems aren’t subscriptions. We all pay into them so that no one’s child, neighbour, or parent is left out. That’s not a difference in definition, it’s a difference in what we believe we owe each other.
@JeffreyRWRath@ABDanielleSmith Union density in Alberta is the lowest in Canada at 21.4–23%, compared to the national 27.9–30%. This correlates with suppressed wage growth, influenced by restrictive policies (e.g., frozen minimum wage at $15/hour since 2018, limits on organizing).
@RickBellwrites@calgaryherald Do you have a recent criminal/vulnerable record check? If so, you should go volunteer in a school. Choose any. Journalism on the ground, instead of writing for the royalty (but never with them).
