Bringing the public along while we investigates cases has been one of the significant feature of our anti-corruption campaign in Sierra Leone.

Today we provided update on the collusion between some staff of the Freetown City Council and staff of a commercial bank through which they stole over NLe3 Million Leones by simply adding “Football Club” to Chèques issued to Revenue streams of the Council and depositing it into the football account where they would fraudulently access the money and share it among themselves thereby depriving the council of the revenue.

But don’t worry, they are all rounded up and many have already confessed. We will deal with them accordingly.
