I(F19) told my bf(M21) I would only do anal if he let me peg him but he "changed" his mind?
The dim light of the bedroom felt heavy, standard post-coital quiet ruined by a knot tightening in Maya’s chest. She sat up, pulling the sheet over her lap, and looked down at Julian.
"So, next weekend?" she asked, keeping her voice light, trying to brush off the sudden chill in the air. "Now that we’ve checked your prerequisite off the list?"
Julian didn't look at her. He reached for his phone on the nightstand, tapping the screen to check the time before setting it back down face-down. "Look, Maya... I’ve been thinking about it."
"Thinking about what?"
"The pegging thing. I don't think I'm comfortable with it anymore. I’ve just... changed my mind."
The words hung between them, cold and deliberate. Maya froze, the ambient warmth of the room evaporating.
I (F23) Have The Opportunity To Live in a House With 4 Other Girls, But I’m tlTerrified and Considering Declining.......
So sorry if this is weird, but I needed to get this out because it was making me freak out.
I’m 23, and despite this I’m still super traumatized by being severely bullied by men in high school. Mostly on my appearance/weight, but kind of just any and everything like being weird or autistic.
It’s kind of directly altered how I engage with people. I’m still fat (like 5’2 and 260 lbs tho trying to lose some), and I am socially awkward and weird still in my eyes. I just feel like I’m a slob and a loser and don’t deserve anything good for myself unless I become hot and skinny.
That’s not to say I want pity or anything, but it’s influencing heavily how I am taking this situation.
Basically I’m transferring to a college that’s huge- and because of that housing is pretty much not available for transfers and juniors/seniors, so you gotta get an apartment or find a place to stay. I was freaked out but found a couple low cost places I could share with my best friend, he’s a gay guy. I’ve known him for years and feel comfortable around him but almost in a bad way, I kind of use it as “this person feels safe so I will only be around this person”, when the whole point of life and college is to meet people and have friends.
I got reached out to by a house that had 4 girls and all are LGBTQ and leftist/feminist. This excited me because I was terrified of having to room with someone I didn’t know or that was like someone that hated women or something. I was all for it until I saw their instagrams.
They’re all beautiful. I’m a lesbian so it’s probably because I think they’re all pretty, but like they all do genuinely look gorgeous. Some are plus sized but they all radiate like this untouchable goddess energy and I was in awe, and then the sick feelings came rushing back.
I was like, I’m gonna say no. Because I’m a loser, obese slob who looks a mess and is weird. They’re gonna hate me if I move in, because how could they not.
It was all I could- and can- think about. But everyone in my life is telling me I need to stop fixating so much on my body and just do it. That I’m allowed to have good things BEFORE I’m hot and skinny and successful.
But I don’t know. I feel like living with my best friend would be so much easier. We know how we are. It’s safe and tolerable and I wont be walking on eggshells trying not to be weird.
But on the other hand I feel like I’m about to miss out on a great opportunity.
I don’t know what to do. I need someone to tell me if I’m reading too much into it or if I should decline and room with my best friend, because at this rate idk if I’ll ever make a decision
One of the most dangerous things trauma can give a person is a new identity.
Sidney Ogletree survived more than 20 shots being fired into his vehicle while his young daughter sat in the back.
He was wounded, but he still drove them to the hospital.
What happened afterward is the part that stayed with me.
He says the shooting pushed him into a revenge mindset. He surrounded himself with dangerous people, became consumed by retaliation, and eventually ended up back in prison.
The irony is brutal.
The people who attacked him didn't just hurt his body.
They changed the way he saw the world.
And once revenge became part of his identity, he started making choices that carried him deeper into the same life he was trying to survive.
Sometimes the worst consequence of violence isn't the wound.
It's becoming the kind of person who believes violence is the only language left.https://t.co/sk0QUk2Mab
I lent my coworker my $900 laptop for a week because his computer suddenly stopped working.
He needed it to finish an important project, so I let him take it home.
I made one condition:
“Just don’t let anyone else use it.”
He promised.
On Friday, he returned it to my desk while I was in a meeting.
When I came back, the screen was cracked.
Ebony Maw bowing to Thanos while handing over the Infinity Stone wasn’t just a gesture, it showed exactly how deeply he believed in Thanos.
Maw didn’t treat him like an ordinary leader; he spoke about him with almost religious devotion, completely convinced that Thanos was carrying out a greater purpose.
The irony is that Maw was one of the most powerful and intelligent members of the Black Order, yet his loyalty left no room for doubt or hesitation.
Imagine being smart enough to manipulate an entire room, but the second Thanos says “hand it over,” suddenly it’s “Yes, my lord.” 😂
For six years, I handed my paycheck to my parents, believing they were helping me build my future. That belief collapsed during an ordinary family dinner when my father laughed and casually said my money had only been rent for staying in their house.
My face went cold, and my body went numb, but I stayed completely still as I reached into my bag for a folder no one at that table expected...
I DIDN'T REALIZE IT WAS FATHER'S DAY UNTIL AFTER MY DAD WAS GONE.
My mom was threatening divorce, and my dad was very, very depressed over it.
For about a week, I went back and forth from the place my mom was staying and my home, where my dad was.
I tried to make him feel better.
He kept asking me about my mom, asking me to talk to her, do anything I could to change her mind.
I couldn't bring myself to tell him my mom had already made her decision.
The night before Father's Day, I was leaving to spend the night with some friends.
Before I left, I told him:
“I'll be back early so I can make breakfast for you for Father's Day.”
He said:
“He'll take a rain check.”
I didn't think anything of it.
I went to a club that night and took some ecstasy.
At the time, I was also prescribed Adderall and was discreetly taking more than recommended.
After an hour of feeling nothing, I began to feel lightheaded and hot.
My heart started racing, and I could barely think.
I begged my friends to take me to the hospital.
“Something is happening to me.”
They shrugged it off.
Finally, a boy I met that day who was friends with one of my friends drove me back to his house.
The whole ride home, I was struggling to regulate my breath and heart rate, fearing for my life.
🌈I went on a date with a gay guy recently, expecting the usual stuff: dinner, flirting, awkward jokes, and maybe a second date if things went well.
Instead, I left feeling like he had introduced me to an entire side of gay life I didn't know existed.
We were talking about dating when he casually started telling me about the different communities he'd found, the friendships he'd built, the places he went, and how differently gay men can experience relationships and identity.
At one point I said, “Wait… people actually have groups for that?”
He laughed.
“Of course. Where have you been?”
“Apparently living under a rock,” I said.
We both laughed, but honestly, I wasn't embarrassed. I grew up in an environment where you didn't exactly get exposed to every part of gay life. So there were things he considered completely normal that were completely new to me.
What surprised me most wasn't the places he'd been or the people he'd met. It was how many different ways there were to simply be yourself.
Before that date, I thought I understood what gay life looked like.
Turns out, I only knew my version of it.
That guy didn't teach me how to be gay. He just showed me how much bigger the world could be when you realize there's no single way to live it.
Gay guys, what's one thing about gay life you discovered later than you wish you had?
Receptionist (Mia): “Good morning, Parkview Leasing. Mia speaking. How can I help?”
Me: “I need to speak to whoever is in charge.”
Mia: “Of course. Is there something I can help you with?”
Me: “I think one of your employees is having an affair with my husband.”
Mia: “…Oh.”
Me: “Yeah.”
Mia: “Okay… give me one second.”
Mia puts me on hold and calls her manager.
Mia: “Rachel, I have a slightly complicated situation on line one.”
Rachel: “What happened?”
Mia: “A woman says one of our employees is seeing her husband.”
Rachel: “It’s not even nine.”
Mia: “She didn’t give me a name.”
Rachel: “Did she describe her?”
Mia: “Young, blonde, works here.”
Rachel: “Great. That narrows it down to half the office.”
Mia: “Exactly.”
Rachel: “Put her through.”
Mia: “You’re on.”
Rachel: “Hi, this is Rachel, the property manager. Tell me what’s going on.”
Me: “I’ve seen my husband here with one of your employees several times.”
Rachel: “Here at the office?”
Me: “Yes.”
Rachel: “What have you seen?”
Me: “They laugh together. She always walks him to his car. And yesterday, I saw them leave together.”
Rachel: “Do you know who she is?”
Me: “No.”
Rachel: “Can you describe her?”
Me: “She’s young, blonde, and usually wears a black cardigan.”
Rachel: “Anything else?”
Me: “She drives a little white car.”
Rachel: “Okay. I’ll look into it and call you back.”
Me: “Thank you.”
Rachel hangs up.
Rachel: “Mia.”
Mia: “Yeah?”
Rachel: “Who drives the white car?”
Mia: “Chloe.”
Rachel: “Where is she?”
Mia: “Showing apartment 204.”
Rachel: “Call her.”
A few minutes later, Chloe walks into the office.
Chloe: “You wanted me?”
Rachel: “Yeah. I need to ask you something.”
Chloe: “Okay…”
Rachel: “Are you seeing a married man?”
Chloe: “What?! No!”
Rachel: “A resident’s wife says she’s seen you with her husband.”
Chloe: “Who?”
Rachel: “I don’t know his name.”
Chloe: “Then ask her.”
Rachel: “Why?”
Chloe: “Because I think I know who she means.”
Rachel: “Who?”
Chloe: “The man who’s been coming here every day?”
Rachel: “Yes.”
Chloe: “Rachel… that’s your husband.”
Mia: “…”
Rachel: “Put the wife back on the phone.”
Mia: “I suddenly don’t want this job anymore.”
My son is the quarterback for his high school football team.
Last Friday, I watched a referee let the other team hit him three times after the whistle.
The first one was obvious.
My son scrambled, slid, and gave himself up.
The defender came in late and hit him anyway.
No flag.
I stood up in the bleachers.
The parent next to me said,
“Did he seriously not call that?”
I thought maybe the referee didn’t see it.
Then it happened again.
My son threw the ball and was already on the ground when another player shoved him.
Still no flag.
Our coach was furious.
He walked toward the official.
“That’s twice. You need to protect the quarterback.”
The referee said,
“Tell your quarterback to get rid of the ball.”
The coach walked away.
I didn’t think much of it.
Until the third hit.
My son scrambled toward the sideline.
He stepped out.
The whistle blew.
A defender still drove his shoulder into my son’s back.
My son went down hard.
The entire home side started yelling.
The referee stood about ten yards away.
Nothing.
No flag.
No warning.
My son got up holding his ribs.
I was furious.
Then I noticed something.
The referee wasn’t watching my son.
He was looking at our coach.
And smiling.
My friend hired a professional organizer because his apartment had become impossible.
She arrived at 9 AM.
At 9:17, she called him into the bedroom.
“Why do you have 19 boxes labeled MISCELLANEOUS?”
He said:
“Because the contents are miscellaneous.”
She opened Box 7.
Inside:
One shoe.
Three batteries.
A birthday candle.
A screwdriver.
And a passport.
She looked at him.
“Your PASSPORT is miscellaneous?”
I hated the fact that after I came She just stayed on her knees looking up at me with a smile on her face and it made me want her more.
We exchanged numbers but neither of us have reached out to one another since.
I think I’m going to break the ice and reach out to her.
I had an incestuous encounter with my cousin.
I know it was wrong but in the moment it felt so good and my cousin went along with it.
This relationship stretches back to when we were children.
Post nut clarity set in I was so embarrassed for multiple reasons.
I hated the fact that I had a sexual encounter with a family member.
I hated that it felt so good.
I hated the fact that I came so much.
