Wizkid isn't known to be a lyrical genius or one that attempts to try, so not much is expected of him in the "REAL, Vol. 1" joint EP with Asake; Asides his vocals being evident, he added nothing really to the collabs. Asake carried all four songs on the project despite not being at his A-game, "Turbulence" is proof of that, though he likely could've put out better verses if he was challenged. The only good thing about this collab is the production which is close to perfect, but as far as brilliance goes, there's a lack of creativity from both artistes.

That said, the "(Ehn?)" inclusion in the Alaye track was impressive, and the background singers did great.

This EP is simply to keep the relevance by working with established artistes. It's a 3.5/10. No offense.
