I know the Twitter from years back is so different than today. But I just want to revisit this account like I would my hometown. Things change but this will always be a home to me. I will always be grateful for this community.
@Awkward_INFJ Hello. I’m going thru old tweets and replies. I’m sorry I didn’t see this before. But I just want to say that I appreciate you taking the time to share your experience and wisdom. You are right, I did heal and it wasn’t so bad after all. I hope you are having a great day!
I always struggle to recognize my value as a person. Because like l said, I feel like I'm (almost) nothing. I'm taking as small of a space as possible to reflect that value. And being reminded that despite being small, I mattered really shook me.
Most of the time, I think I do not exist. Like the universe does not acknowledge my existence, because frankly, I'm just a speck of dust. But once in a while, l'll realize that I do exist and people see me. And it's always shocking.
Yesterday, someone reminded me that that I'm an actual human being in this world. That I somehow have an impact to some people. That my past did happen, despite not remembering all the details. Sometimes it's easy to forget and being reminded is quite shocking.
I know it has been a while but I would like to just provide a quick update. Some years ago I lost something—a spark, my light. But today I saw a flicker and I feel like it’s coming back to me. This is just a reminder not to lose hope. Someday everything will be better. ☺️
Share something you were finally able to do because of the current time surplus. Even the smallest of task/activity can boost the mood.
To share mine: I was able to explore new recipes. 🥘
I'm lucky that I still have a job but my work changed. Now I have meetings almost everyday. Some days I have 2-3 meetings. We have no overtime pay, in fact our salary is now at 90% (my salary is just above minimum wage). I'm so drained. I hate meetings. I want to give up.
