I've been tipping a flat 10% basically my entire adult life, and have faced 0 repercussions for doing so. I feel like people getting upset about "tipping culture" are just afraid of imagined conflict that's never actually going to happen.

@OliveEtVinum It all sounds cliche but it is like you’ve lost a piece of who you are. You can rebuild from it of course, but it takes such a long time and honestly the most important part is to be patient with them. Listen to them, and don’t feel a need to respond or give advice
