Hot take: Being a founder is hard. Organising events is harder.

Let me explain.. as someone who has lived both realities 😂

As a founder, you can move a product launch. You can fix a bug tomorrow. You can quietly change the roadmap.

Try telling 500 people to come back next week because your event isn't ready. 😂

Organising @ConfluenceEvent has taught me things about leadership, negotiation, resource allocation, partnerships and crisis management that I don't think I'd have learned as quickly building a startup alone.

You learn to make difficult decisions with limited resources. You learn that a verbal commitment isn't money in the bank. You learn to work with people who have completely different interests and still find a way to make things happen.
And you learn that no matter how good your vision is, people will judge you by what you actually deliver.

Founding a company is hard.
But organising a large-scale event, especially at a grassroot level? That's a different kind of madness!! 😂
