We were back in rehearsal last night kick-starting preparations for our 2025/26 season!

Up first is a programme of music that really packs an emotional punch.

What a super concert tonight with @CongletonCS ! Music by @olagjeilo & Haydn wonderfully executed with a fine team of soloists. The Britten Serenade featured excellent work from Chris Why, David Tollington & wonderful accompanying all evening from National Festival Orchestra!

Looking forward to heading back to #Buxton for the @BuxtonFestival Space Day! Local primary school children have helped create a new song which they will sing before hearing music from Holst’s ‘The Planets’ arranged for chamber ensemble, along with projections and poetry!
