We are heartbroken to share that our beloved male Masai giraffe, Congo, passed away yesterday. Congo was 16 years old and had been with us since we opened the giraffe exhibit in 2006, in that time he had fathered five calves and impacted millions of guests.

Two new friends have joined the Zoo! Meet Kiedis and Vedder (any 90's rock fans out there?). These two brothers are called Pied Tamarins, and came to the Chatt Zoo from the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. Did we mention they're pretty cute, too? Welcome to Chattanooga, boys!

If you've visited in March, you may (or may not) have noticed a change at the clouded leopard exhibit... the leopards! Rajani and Kamala have been on exhibit before but never together. 😍
