Some Magic cards (in recent history even) like whatever color Chocobo or serialized cards have become so expensive, it'd be cheaper to just... commission the original artist

Like literally people could just commission the original artist, and have their own special 1/1 card.

Magic has genuinely gone to far off the rails, its financially and mental impossible to keep up with.

Imma do my own thing. I'm making a community driven, Free-to-Play card game. It's literally cheaper to make my own card game and give it away for free than it is to play Magic
