Australian researchers claim they have developed a battery that can keep a smartphone charged for five days or power an electric car for over 600 miles. https://t.co/I5HGGwHYhS
Toxic PFAS chemicals have been detected at 15 different locations throughout Alaska! The PFAS Action Act would help clean up #PFAS contamination and protect our water. https://t.co/NFMq31EmN8 RT to tell @repdonyoung it’s time to #CleanUpPFAS and vote YES on H.R. 535! #DarkWaters
What makes Mitch McConnell more dangerous than trump:
1. He is intelligent
2. He knows the law
3. He knows the Constitution
4. He know the difference between right & wrong
5. He's willing to disregard it ALL in order to stay in power.
We HAVE to get him out of office, folks.
Breaking News: The U.S. will not strike cultural sites in Iran if conflict escalates, Defense Secretary Mark Esper said, despite President Trump's threats to do so https://t.co/UgsqoQo2Xg
Why is a disorganized and chaotic Administration such a danger to national security?
This actually happened:
They sent a letter — by mistake — to the Iraqi government to inform them our counter-ISIS forces are withdrawing.
The dysfunction starts at the top.
Congress must provide a check on President Trump and assert our constitutional role in war and peace.
President Trump does not have authority for a war with Iran.
I plan to fight him tooth and nail on this and intend to support the efforts of Senators Kaine, Sanders, and more.
This campaign has never been just about electing a president of the United States—as enormously important as that is.
This campaign is about transforming America.
It's about understanding that real change never takes place from the top on down, but always from the bottom on up.
Let’s be clear: Mitch McConnell doesn’t want a Senate trial. He wants a Senate cover-up.
History will judge the actions taken by the Senate at this moment in time. Know that I’ll be fighting on the side of justice and accountability.
Rep Gosar should be expelled from Congress for sharing anti-American propaganda—a photoshopped image of President Obama with the president of Iran. Another pathetic and desperate move from the GOP.
In the past three days:
—Trump threatened to bomb 52 Iranian cultural sites, a war crime
—The Defense Secretary’s chief of staff announced his resignation
—The Joint Chiefs of Staff Chair said a letter indicating U.S. troops would leave Iraq was not intended for public release
Joe Biden helped lead the effort for the war in Iraq.
He voted for trade deals that cost us millions of jobs.
He pushed a bankruptcy bill that has been disastrous for working families.
That is not the kind of record that will bring forth the energy we need to defeat Trump.
Mitch McConnell has blocked:
--The release of the Mueller report
--A Supreme Court nominee
--Legislation that would make it easier to vote
--Clean energy investments
--Gun safety legislation
--A $15 minimum wage
--Anti-corruption laws
But it's Democrats playing political games.

As increasingly troubling and alarming as @realDonaldTrump’s behavior has become in recent days (which sure is saying something), what’s far, far scarier is the absence of _any_ voice of authority from within his own party condemning it—to say nothing of doing something about it.
Bolton is an important witness to misconduct involving Ukraine that he called a “drug deal.”
Bolton refused to testify in the House, following Trump’s orders.
Now he is willing to come forward. The Senate must allow testimony from him, Mulvaney and others. The coverup must end.
Dumbfounded. A U.S. President notifying Congress of military action under the War Powers Act on Twitter is *the exact example* I used to pitch researching lack of legal frameworks covering world leaders' social media in law school–but was "too theoretical" https://t.co/PoDdSBmrJL
