@GaneshKagarwal@ElaineYiningXu Multiple terrorist attacks in Xinjiang were planned on Facebook, Facebook refused to assist in the subsequent investigations and were banned off of the chinese net.
@abbesudo@Rogelio_Mellado@jokieliu One of the reasons is that there are fewer soccer fields in China. Takes too much space in cities, basket ball, table tennis, etc are much more space efficient to get people to exercise. Of course not the only reason but it is something to note.
@realplaya405@JoeLongBalls I wouldn't call that "fine" but evasive movement and using terrain will definitely help with survivability.
There is a video from 2025 of a Russian soldier running in circles around a tall bush and ends up dodging 7 or 8 drones.
@SCMPNews What is this clickbait title?? He got his money back + interest.
The building was semi-illegal, greymarket but much cheaper than normal. He sued and court sided with him.
@LoudHausParty@Prototype27F This is for if you miss with the shotgun and it's fiber optic.
"Haha just don't miss lol" tell that to a grunt and he will probably sock you in the jaw.
@infoscav@Prototype27F@konigssohne Well they will be supported by lots of SHORAD systems and overwhelming number of high-tech and low-tech drones.
Don't die and hold the ground is kind of the point of the infantry. Better to practice this now instead of wishing you practiced when a drone is coming at you.
@EmpReb@Prototype27F Finding the operators is a tricky thing to do, I imagine advanced elint can probably locate transmitter for radio controlled drones, but optic fiber drones will be much more difficult.
@Pareterer@Prototype27F If it's a rpg warhead it might not do anything, but if it's a brick of explosives for anti-personel there's not much other than pray the drone misses very badly or shoot it out of the air.
@itssanman@TJangodarkblade@Prototype27F If the drone hits you directly, it doesn't matter if it's prone or standing. However if it misses you and explodes nearby, prone >> standing.
Doing something is better than just giving up and letting the drone kill you.
@BATTLEPRO12@GoreTiger64th@Prototype27F The French are actually trying to introduce them but I don't see any nation other than China going balls to the walls with SHORAD systems for drone defense.
@Yungsifustan@RafaelH117 This is the right response. The Chinese men's team is unfortunately very bad and I'd rather not have the entire world watch as they get obliterated.
@BShenye As for why these museums are considered important, same reason why the museums dedicated to the atomic bombings are considered important in your nation.
@BShenye Vast majority of gov ran museums in China are free or very cheap, but requires reservation to avoid overcrowding. Only tourist sites that require lots of maintenance or a lot of manpower to keep running charge entrance fees.
@camerashishi@ZEKE0326_15 Oh don't you worry I'm sure the imperial Japanese army will go about massacring people whenever they go, such is their nature.
Japan is a democracy because it ate two nukes.
@Bad_Species1@TheDeadDistrict The Ukrainians are training for this type of thing as well. Else are you just going to give up when an enemy FPV starts targeting you?
@Powazny667@TheDeadDistrict If it's a bush or a small tree then it could work, once saw a video of a Russian soldier dodging 7 or 8 fpvs in a row by running around a 2 meter tall bush/tree.
Ideally don't let yourself be targetted by fpvs, but it's better to be prepared for worst case scenario.
@Toecutterp@XH_Lee23@elonmusk 2001 china was a different place. Now every village requires a paved road no matter where it is, back then the gov was worrying about connecting major cities and towns with highways and proper roads.
