North Korea recently tested a new ballistic missile, with record flight time and altitude. The world merely watches as this threat grows.
Through Moscow’s assistance, North Korea has advanced its artillery and missile capabilities. Now, they are learning the tactics of modern warfare. Thousands of North Korean soldiers are already near Ukraine’s borders, preparing to fight. And the world is still watching.
We know where these North Korean troops are gathering in Russia. We could act preemptively if we had the means—long-range capability. Yet, America, the UK, and Germany watch.
We understand the logistics pipeline between Russia and North Korea that enables this aggression, and it must be stopped. Strong Asian nations, including China, have a role to play. If China truly advocates for ending the war, it must act.

@MarshadeCordova Such an important step forward in the push for a National Strategy for Eye Care. It is great to be working with you on this @MarshadeCordova
Great to meet the #TheEyesHaveIt partnership at their event in Parliament today and hear from stakeholders and patients.
I’ve heard their call for more joined up care and will work with them to bring about the positive change we all want to see.
Pleased to be hosting the Westminster Eye Health Parliamentary drop in next week for the second year running with ‘The Eyes Have It’ partners & supporting calls on this #WorldSightDay for a National Strategy so everyone can benefit from the right care, when & where they need it.
Over half of all #sightloss is preventable, but only a quarter of people in Britain get their eyes tested regularly. I talked about new research from The Eyes Have It Partnership with @MacularSociety@Roche & @fightforsightUK on @LondonLive (6:45–8:59):

Many thanks to my colleagues for their excellent contributions in today's Westminster Hall debate on Eye Health. Great to meet with the Minister for Primary Care and Patient Safety Maria Caulfield MP & focus on the importance of early diagnosis & treatment for the best outcomes.
Excellent to visit @Roche this week in my capacity as @AlzResearchUK President. With progress into dementia research advancing, great to discuss the current challenges and opportunities faced, by industry and more widely. Together we can #MakeBreakthroughsPossible.
