The time for only thoughts and prayers is over. We are in a unique position to take action and save lives. And that’s exactly what we are going to do in the weeks ahead.

Five years ago to the day, 17 people were killed in Parkland in a horrific shooting that never should have happened.
Now, another shooting at MSU that never should have happened. Grieve for the dead. Fight like hell for the living.
Tomorrow, we will honor the victims of the Parkland mass shooting and then learn the names of the victims of the Michigan State University mass shooting.
No student in the United States should ever have to live by the words "run, hide, fight".
