@DavidRooster3 wants to utilize this picture to call on countries and people across the Global South to put climate change at the core of their policies and practices, with creativity being a strong medium that can be used to fight against humankind destroying the environment.
According to Nigerian cultural anthropologist Bakare Ayobami Olansile, the calabash speaks to the richness and uniqueness of the African cultures as well as it illustrates their power to bridge the gaps between cultures across the globe.
