WindEurope 2025 has commenced in Copenhagen, with fifteen Enterprise Ireland-supported companies attending the conference.
At the Ireland National Pavilion, WindEurope CEO Giles Dickson, Enterprise Ireland, EirGrid Group, and IDA Ireland signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the future of offshore wind in Ireland. This MoU aims to deepen cooperation and collaboration between the three agencies to support the development of the Irish offshore wind sector.
The focus will be on attracting inward investments, enhancing opportunities for companies in the offshore wind sector, and building the supply chain required for the delivery of Ireland’s target of 37 GW of offshore wind energy by 2050.
