Retired in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Bookworm, animal lover, Christian, conservative, fluent in sarcasm. I block any who add me to lists.
Just so we are all on the same page:
Illegals are voting.
Illegals are getting free food.
Illegals are getting free childcare.
Illegals are getting free education.
Illegals are getting free tax credits.
Illegals are getting free healthcare.
Illegals are getting free housing assistance.
Illegals are getting free legal representation.
Illegals are getting free mental health services.
Illegals are getting free college tuition in over a dozen states.
It is the most insane scam ever perpetrated on the American people.
Senator, you’ve had 17 years. Costs are higher, not lower. You voted for massive spending packages that drove inflation and piled on trillions in debt. On your watch, Virginia became the world's data center capital, and those facilities are now driving up electricity rates for families across the state. Housing remains out of reach for too many Virginians. Promises aren’t results. Your time is up. This November, you’re fired.
Lewis on why he wrote The Chronicles of Narnia:
“I thought I saw how stories of this kind could steal past a certain inhibition which had paralysed much of my own religion in childhood. Why did one find it so hard to feel as one was told one ought to feel about God or the sufferings of Christ? I thought the chief reason was that one was told one ought to. An obligation to feel can freeze feelings. And reverence itself did harm. The whole subject was associated with lowered voices; almost as if it were something medical. But supposing that by casting all these things into an imaginary world, stripping them of their stained-glass and Sunday School associations, one could make them for the first time appear in their real potency? Could one not thus steal past those watchful dragons? I thought one could.”
The fuel excise tax in Virginia is 32.6 cents per gallon.
Virginia Republicans have consistently and repeatedly called for a gas tax holiday to immediately deliver relief at the pump.
Democrats said NO.
The next time you fill up, just remember that you could be paying 32.6 cents less per gallon, but Democrats are demanding their pound of flesh.
I’m French. I want to talk to Americans who are about to vote Democrat. Not to insult you. To warn you.
I come from your future.
In France we did everything your progressive politicians promise. Free healthcare, free college, generous welfare, strong unions, heavy regulation, high taxes on the rich, a state that takes care of everything. Public spending close to 57% of GDP, one of the highest on the planet. On paper, it’s the dream.
Here’s what it looks like from the inside. France hasn’t passed a balanced budget since 1974. Our debt is above 3,300 billion euros. Interest on that debt is becoming one of the biggest items in the national budget. Our hospitals are collapsing despite record funding. Our schools rank lower every year. Young people with degrees can’t afford an apartment in the city they were born in. Our best engineers leave for London, Zurich and San Francisco. And the rich you wanted to tax? They left too, and took the jobs with them.
The promise was protection. The result is stagnation.
The worst part is that nobody in France voted for decline. Every single step sounded generous, compassionate, reasonable. One more program. One more regulation. One more tax to fund it. Each step alone makes sense. Fifty years of them, and you wake up in a country that can no longer build a nuclear plant on time or keep its streets safe.
I love America because it’s the one place on earth where people still believe they can build something from nothing. I came to Silicon Valley as a self-taught kid and it changed my life. That spirit is the most precious thing your country has.
Before you vote, ask yourself one question: is the program you’re voting for making America more like America, or more like France?
Trust me. You don’t want to be France.
BREAKING: A FEDERAL JUDGE JUST ORDERED PRESIDENT TRUMP TO STOP TALKING TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.
The judge ordered the administration to cancel further airings of its ads promoting the President's agenda.
The government says it has spent $19 million on them so far.
Think about that. One unelected judge decided the President of the United States can't tell voters what his administration is doing.
President Trump called the ads "rather standard," and he's right. Every administration promotes its agenda.
Fake News CNN is acting like this is a victory for democracy.
These are the same people who spent four years running free PR for Joe Biden every single night.
They don't want the ads gone because of the money. They want them gone because they can't control the message anymore.
Judges don't get to decide who the President talks to. This ruling won't stand.
Vote No on all three amendments.
The abortion amendment puts parental consent at risk and lets one doctor approve a third-trimester abortion. The marriage amendment has no protections for people of faith, and Democrats voted those protections down. The voting amendment makes restoration automatic while the current system is sending letters to dead people.
Once it's in the constitution, it's hard to undo. Keep the current rules. Vote No.
20 Bible Scriptures Supporting Voting and Civic Responsibility!
The Bible does not directly command Christians to vote, but it provides strong principles for choosing leaders, promoting righteousness, exercising discernment, and participating responsibly in government.
Choosing Godly Leaders
* Exodus 18:21 — Choose capable, God-fearing, trustworthy leaders who hate dishonest gain.

* Proverbs 28:12 — When righteous people triumph, there is great glory; when the wicked rise, people hide.
* Proverbs 16:12 — A throne is established through righteousness, and wickedness is detestable to kings.
Responsibility to Influence Government

* Psalm 82:3–4 — Defend the weak and fatherless; uphold the rights of the poor and oppressed.
* Amos 5:24 — Let justice roll down like waters and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.
* 1 Timothy 2:1–2 — Pray for kings and all who are in authority so that people may live peaceful and godly lives.
Three Particularly Strong Scriptures for Encouraging Christians to Vote
Exodus 18:21 — Establishes biblical qualifications for choosing leaders.
Proverbs 29:2 — Demonstrates that the character of those governing affects the well-being of the people.
Jeremiah 29:7 — Calls God’s people to seek the welfare of the community where they live.
The biblical argument: Voting is one way Christians living in a representative government can exercise stewardship, seek justice, protect their neighbors, and influence who governs them. These passages support that reasoning, although none explicitly makes voting a biblical command.
Mark Warner keeps mentioning Trump over and over in his posts on X, revealing a clear obsession. Meanwhile, he refuses to even say my name or debate me so voters can judge our records side by side. Virginia deserves a senator focused on the real choice in this race, not endless attacks on someone else.
The Democrats:
“GAS IS SO EXPENSIVE!”
The party who shut down pipelines.
The party who shut down refineries.
The party that greatly reduced drilling.
The party that raises gas taxes.
THE PARTY OF HYPOCRITES AND CRIMINALS, The Democratic Party. 👺🤡

Every dollar lost to fraud is a dollar that could have gone toward serving the American people.
Washington has a responsibility to protect taxpayers from fraud, waste, and abuse, not look the other way.
I’ll keep fighting to hold bad actors accountable and make sure taxpayer dollars are spent responsibly.
With the election approaching, the choice is clear: We need leaders who will stand up for taxpayers and demand accountability.
The people upset at Pete Hegseth for saying the execution of a terrorist will be live streamed are the same ones who watched Charlie Kirk’s brutal assassination on repeat and celebrated.
Tyler Englander pressed the governor on restoring voting rights to dead people. She admits it has happened in a number of cases.
I had someone email today who got a letter in the mail for their deceased relative who has been dead for 20 years. This is causing trauma to families in Virginia.
Abigail Spanberger should apologize personally to the “number of families” she has done this too in a haphazard attempt to swing election results.
The reason you dont speak Arabic.

Men of Christ stopped the advance
America was formed by a civilization that has persisted for thousands of years and which must persist for thousands more.
It was the Civilization of Athens and Rome that transformed an infant seaboard republic into a continental empire.
Today, we find ourselves at a crossroads because the next decade and the decisions we make will write the story of the next century.
The course we take will determine whether the West maintains its place at the head of the world, or resigns itself to a future of atrophy, servitude, and decline.
We will either choose to act now, or lose the choice to act at all.
Under President Trump, the United States has made its choice.
Gas hits $9.00/gallon in California.
In Indiana it's $3.71.
Same gasoline.
Same trucks driving it there.
Same President.
Different governors.
Vote for Steve Hilton.
