You, my friend are a fake Irishman and a horrible example of the Catholic Ireland. There’s no salvation outside the Church, repent and believe in the Gospel.
You can be a complete and total apostate and participate in pagan ceremonies calling on demons, but speak with charisma and kiss the odd baby on the head and that’s enough to fool the gullible Novus Ordoist.
@fidelislatinus@FredSimonTLM Hmmm. Is this some weird way to do canonical digits or something? Perhaps he’s secretly traditional lol. Not sure why he would hold the Body with his middle finger.
@WalmartThomist please clarify what you meant by how to prepare for mass, this has caused confusion for someone I know who is now not attending daily mass because of (I’m guessing misinterpreting) the standards you set.
A man crashed a stolen car outside St. Joseph Shrine. Then he bolted.
The Rector heard the crash and someone yelled "stop him."
So Rev. Jean-Baptiste Commins — in full cassock — tackled him, and held him until the police came.
Never underestimate a priest in a cassock.
@FatherNaugle Correct me if I’m wrong but I believe they likewise did this with the hail holy Queen prayer? I have a old prayer book from the 1900s and they say “poor banished sons of eve”
Since I just looked this up for someone, a reminder that the Communion paten is still mandatory in the New Mass:
93.] The Communion-plate for the Communion of the faithful should be retained, so as to avoid the danger of the sacred host or some fragment of it falling. [180]
You are calling a saint, who ONLY celebrated the TLM, even after the institution of the NO. A modernist? The post lied, they both were TLM’s. If you look closely, you’ll see that the Host is on the corporal and not the patten. You are failing to give due reverence to a Saint.
I would rather attend the first pictured Mass (Tridentine Mass) over the second pictured Mass (Novus Ordo Missae) and I would make that choice 1000 times over. It isn’t about the aesthetics it’s about your soul.
