@StuartSmudge @implausibleblog A few months ago, it was cheaper to drive from Halifax to Newcastle and risk a parking ticket by leaving my car in the centre overnight which would of cost £75 total than it did a return train ticket which was £85. That’s the current is trains. Never mind the likely delays
