Our new travel website is now LIVE!
We've been waiting too long but we've now got one place where you can plan all your North East journeys from.
I want this to make it easier for passengers right across the region to get about with as little hassle as possible.
You can find it here: https://t.co/2pTPqObwmO
You @NucleoNEsp idiots. You're disgusting liars.
The coppers screwed up, they didn't follow the PACE protocol and handcuffed Henry based on Digwa's lie. A mistake that lasted a minute. They corrected themselves, removed the handcuffs, and performed CPR. The blade had pierced his heart. Henry was dead from the moment he was stabbed. The murderer was sentenced to life imprisonment. His mother was convicted of obstruction of justice. His brother was recorded advising him to lie and was caught by the police.
Henry's father asked that his murder not be used to create more hatred and division. You idiots are doing exactly what his parents tell you not to do.
And you're Spanish. The same idiots you are siding with in the UK are the ones attacking Spaniards in the UK. In 2017, Tomás Gil had his face smashed with a wooden plank in Dorset for speaking Spanish. In 2018, a Spanish woman had her hair pulled out on the London Underground for not speaking English. Nearly 5,500 hate crimes have been committed since Brexit, against Spaniards, Poles, Greeks, and Italians. The "White Lives Matter" movement didn't defend them. They were the perpetrators.
You are literally standing behind an ideology that considers you second-class Europeans.
Pathetic morons.
This happened in Avellaneda, Santa Fe province, Argentina. Not in Ireland. Not in the UK. Not Europe. It happened in another continent, in Argentina. The attacker is a homeless man known locally as "Máscara" who is a psychiatric patient. It was a random attack by a mentally ill person, not a racially motivated assault.
The father, Matías Paczkowski, said he won't press charges because the man is "a sick person with psychiatric problems who is always out on the street begging". The attacker was detained and admitted to the Psychiatry ward at Hospital de Reconquista under his brother's guardianship.
A mentally ill homeless man in a small Argentine town attacked a stranger at random. That's a tragedy and a mental health failure. And you, @ferguspower1, are posting a screeching man whining "MY BLOOD IS FUCKING BOILING" to a million viewers as if it's evidence of civilisational collapse, with zero context, zero source, and zero mention that it happened on a different fucking continent.
You are rage-farming. You find a distressing story, strip all context, let the easily manipulated followers fill in the narrative with their bias.
Masses of people just watched it and assumed whatever they were primed to assume. The father showed more decency in refusing to press charges than you showed in spreading lies.

BBC has been key in developing and sharing British culture & talent for decades
Blue Planet II cost £15m to make, generated £1bn+, BBC created The Office, Doctor Who, Blackadder
BBC helped discover & push Ricky Gervais & Stephen Merchant, Rowan Atkinson, Idris Elba, Louis Theroux, Ed Sheeran, Stephen Fry, Olivia Colman, Helen Mirren, Judi Dench
Due to it being publicly owned it has been able to be an incubator of talent and take risks in a way often private networks could never
BBC has problems, but if you can't see the sum of BBCs contribution to British culture then you are insane
While it makes for a good headline, this is a terrible policy for several reasons.
1. It would create a 'cliff edge' at £75,000, which means many people going from earning £75k to £76k would get hit by a tax bill that's bigger than their raise. This will hugely deter people from earning more.
2. It would be exceptionally easy to game to facilitate tax avoidance. Nothing would stop unscrupulous employers and and employees agreeing that the regular pay is very low, but an hour of overtime is paid (say) 100x ordinary wages. All of a sudden, the whole wage is tax-free.
3. It would be unfair between professions where hours are contracted and those it's not. The professional services sector, for example, rarely pays overtime. This would incentivise those professions to move to clock-punching: forcing professions to change their culture to suit government.
4. By targeting hours, it gives a tax break to work that takes longer. But we should be incentivising higher wages through higher productivity, not lower wages on longer hours.
5. Self-employed people and people who work multiple jobs wouldn't benefit from this. For absolutely no reason whatsoever.
Just cut taxes generally. Don't dream up schemes that make our tax system even more complicated and even more distortionary just to get a quick headline.
On behalf of their client, Zara Sultana, Bindmans Media and Information Law Practise Group requires that I publish the following statement on X, and that such statement must be clearly visible and pinned to my
profile for a continuous period of no less than 24 hours:
“On 30 March 2026, I published a post on my X account addressed to Zarah Sultana in which I stated that she encourages and incites violence and is friends with terrorists.
Those statements are false. I was wrong and offer my sincere apologies to Ms Sultana for the harm and distress caused to her.”
It is my very great pleasure to do this, and I reiterate my sincere and repeated offer to meet with Miss Zara Sultana in person to resolve our differences.
Here is the reality:
- UK regains position of 5th largest economy in the world
- Govt borrowing lowest since 2019
- Growth higher than expected
- Finance sector fastest turnaround since 1996
- NHS waiting lists down nearly half a mil.
- Min Wage now £26k
Labour are a good govt.
Saying no to an insane war.
Doubling down on monstrous capacity for renewables.
NHS waiting lists going down.
Made shoplifting actually illegal again.
Now this?!
Sadly, tho, Morgan McSweeney killed his career over 12 months.
Still…
🚨 Historical decision by Union Berlin as German club appoint Marie-Louise Eta as their head coach until June.
Union lost at Heidenheim, sacked the head coach Steffen Baumgart and put Marie-Louise Eta in charge until the end of the season.
Ets becomes the first female head coach in the history of men’s Bundesliga.
From today, Labour has increased the minimum wage to £12.71 an hour, cut energy bills by £117, frozen prescription charges, expanded sick pay and brought in day one rights at work.
Not bad for a government that’s supposedly “no different”.
We want to run a $25,000 Female CS2 Tournament.

@lVlr_F__GaMeZ@stankotheclown1@hfc_felix Literally the second biggest country in the world and a direct rival to the USA thinking they wouldn’t have a large standing army is uh interesting
When you exhale, you create positive pressure inside the sealed chamber between your mask and face. This higher-pressure air will actively seek and escape through any available gaps or imperfect seals (like around the nose bridge or cheeks), causing noticeable leakage.
But when you inhale, it is different. You create negative pressure (a partial vacuum) inside that same chamber. The higher outside atmospheric pressure then pushes the mask's sealing edges tightly against your face, actually improving the seal and minimizing leakage.
Therefore, it’s important to note that a video showing leakage during exhalation does not necessarily mean the mask will leak during inhalation. The physics at work in each phase are fundamentally different.
