I stand by if you’ve purchased a season ticket you should get BluesTV to watch friendly games for free, a friendly shouldn’t be an extra expense. These vouchers don’t reward loyalty #BCFC
@Kieranbcfc2 If he doesn’t do the job, he’s another year older, stick a clause in which can mean we get him off the books and we try again with someone new.
Likewise with Dim, if it means an option that could work out best for both great. If he wants to stay he will, if not we save on wages
@Kieranbcfc2 Disagree on the panic with these type of contracts.
Marvin’s the wrong side of 30, club rolled the dice to see if he’d do one job - get us up. Signed on a 3 year deal taking him close to 35.
Does the job, was worth the risk, we go up we can afford to see the contract out..
@delves1@brianpiehouse Love the Time Out Markets in Brooklyn and Lisbon. Markets like these with food vendors - I’d love the @BhamSportsQuart to have something like it. Such a good vibe and helps local businesses.
@ElliottBCFC Feel like this sort of signing is great if you have a 10 that could turn and work their magic - Get it wide or up to the 9 and keep us moving forward. Need another piece of the puzzle to benefit from this sort..
@jdbluesME@alexedicken 😂! I like Allsop, be interesting to see how his other stats match up. Think times against him though and they’ll want a younger keeper for longer term.
@_chris96bcfc Doesn’t do anything near enough in games, the wrong side of 30 and after his drink drive incident I’d of been happy if they terminated the contract and we got nothing for him. Get gone and replace for a team player
@KeepRightOnPod@alexedicken@briandick@wilfordwm@wilfordwm just hits the nail on the head every time for me. Questionable transfers in the summer and we’ve had to play catch up and rebuild in the winter. Stick with the gaffer, recruit properly in summer shift the ones not good enough on and see where we end up next season.
@KajeBirmingham @RyanDeeney2194 Our club as a whole has had no where near the investment some of these others have had over the years. We’re rebuilding, but you need to look as it as a whole. Anyway! On to next season🙌🏻
@KajeBirmingham @RyanDeeney2194 Life’s all about opinions. I’d just finish with this. Over the last ten years these clubs have spent:
Leicester - £688m
Southampton - £615m
Ipswich - £185m
Middlesbrough - £217m
Hull - £181m
Norwich - £252m
Derby - £114m
Blues - £114m
While we’ve invested these past 2 seasons..
@KajeBirmingham @RyanDeeney2194 He’s not this awful manager that many of our fan base would like you to believe he is - you included. In his first season he’s got a record number of points in league one and has achieved the above in his second. He deserves at least another season in my eyes.
@KajeBirmingham @RyanDeeney2194 We both have our own opinions. The facts are we have one of the best home records in the league second to Coventry (champions) and Ipswich (just relegated). The away form hasn’t been good enough yet we’ve got 60 points, the highest we’ve had in 10 years..
@KajeBirmingham @RyanDeeney2194 So eager for short term success, ‘we must go back to back promotions’ - Instead we should be building a core, a Brighton model so when we do go up we stay up for years to come. If that takes an extra year or two to get those foundations so be it.
@KajeBirmingham @RyanDeeney2194 We’re tenth with one of the best home records in the league, we haven’t this many points in the championship for 10 years.
We’re only going one way which is up. Give him next year, 5 additions that actually improve us and if it doesn’t work fine get rid.
What’s the rush?
