It’s surprising to me how many kids do not have a consistent dribble/shooting routine daily and weekly In this generation. There’s never been more access to gym spaces, basketballs, goals, then there is right now. And we wonder why the game is in a bad place. THE BASICS!!!!!!!

I tell my kids all the time, the worst mistake I made as a player was blaming a coach for losing confidence! It’s between you and the reflection in the mirror to do the work! Your work should be so consistent that no one person can ever make you doubt yourself as a player/person!

Dear young athletes- keep this photo saved to your phone and show the next person who says you have to focus on one sport in HS.

The amount of kids I’ve heard say “I can’t risk getting hurt” or “my coach won’t let me” drives me crazy.

You get one shot to be a HS athlete.
