@thetrainline loving that you app has increased the price 4 times from £20.00 to £33.50 when I just tried to purchase. Apparently you have completely sold out of the price of ticket advertised, exactly as I went to purchase it. Any reason for this?
@thetrainline Whilst I appreciate your explanation William, it’s seems far too odd for that rapid of a price rise and I have never come across it this bad in the 4+ years of using your app. Can I have your customer service contact info please?
@thetrainline Hi William, so there is no way that your app could have updated ticket availability slower than your website? Because I cannot help but notice a lot of people have been having issues with booking and it seems worth looking into.
@thetrainline Sorry William, just to confirm, your saying that every time I went to buy them, they happened to have sold out as I went through the 30 second process? And this is meant to have happened 3 times in 90 seconds? That doesn’t seem right to me.
@thetrainline I appreciate that William, but if the tickets are £20.00, £26.50 and £30.00 are not available (not uncommon) then shouldn’t it just go to the £33.50 straight away? Instead it jumped in increments and also said at each step that the tickets were still available.
@thetrainline If you not going to provide any explanation of what can be done, then can you please provide the contact details for your complaints team?
@thetrainline That’s still not an excuse for advertising them at £20.00 and repeatedly increasing the price is it? I am now £13.50 extra out of pocket for what amounts to a bait and switch practice. Can you please advise on what can be done?
@thetrainline It was from London Liverpool Street to Stowmarket at 17:00 on the 07/08/24. App went from £20.00 to £26.50 to £30.00 to £33.50 in the space of 2 minutes. I mean you were advertising them at £20.00 originally so it’s a joke to increase it as many times.
@fendi_pank@BladeoftheS Ironically it has gotten a lot worse since he was elected MP in 2015. A lot of the youth violence tends to be gangs travelling into the area to settle scores as the police presence in Sutton is a lot lower than compared to Croydon or Merton.
@SouthernRailUK I think you need to prioritise running a 10 car service on this line during peak hours. The train is horribly overcrowded and people haven’t been able to get on at West Croydon or Norwood Junction. Not a pleasant experience first thing in the morning.
@greateranglia on the 1700 LST to SMK train and had 2 members of GA staff start messing around with my rucksack without asking my permission and have been very rude when asked what they were doing. How do I make a formal complaint as this is disgusting behaviour?
@timhortonsuk Can you respond to my tweet please about the inappropriate behaviour a member of your staff showed me and my family earlier today at your Ipswich branch or do you condone taking pictures of children without their parents permission?
@timhortonsuk Just been into your Ipswich branch for lunch and had one of your employees try to take pictures of my baby daughter without asking me or my wife and then proceed to harass us. What’s your complaint procedure? Will also be flagging your branch to local authority.
@greateranglia I have a ticket pre booked for Wednesday 27th from SMK to LST at 0756, as this is not running due to strikes, can I travel the day before on the same train? You have no info on your website relating to next weeks strikes and I need to be at work on Wednesday.
