Most crypto losses don’t come from bad trades.
They come from basic security mistakes no one talks about.
A quick thread on how people actually get drained 🧵👇
The #1 drain vector right now:
Fake dApp sites
• Google ads
• X replies with “support links”
• Copycat domains (1 letter off)
They don’t steal your keys — they trick you into approving access.
This account will be about how crypto actually gets stolen — and how to stop it.
I’m building @soldiers_crypto to solve part of this problem, but most of what I’ll share here is free and practical.
If you’re in crypto, security isn’t optional. It’s the cost of staying.
I’ve watched too many smart people lose crypto to things that were completely preventable.
Not exotic hacks.
Not nation-state attacks.
Simple stuff:
– clipboard hijackers
– compromised machines
– blind transaction signing
– fake sites that looked just real enough
Give God Shammgod a ton of credit, but also give Jett Howard his flowers for taking what he’s been taught and applying it on the court
I’m not sure we’ve ever seen Jett move with this much fluidity & confidence at the NBA level, especially in the regular szn in non-garbage time
@Kelvintaylor21 Everyone’s upset, but this is just immature and quite honestly disappointing. After everything, still just a kid who probably looks up to you as a former player… be better
@AllKindsWeather Lost what made him special, his humility and being a guy who seemingly only cared about what happened between the lines. Money changes things quick…
