@smaybul For non-American viewers or the Eurovision fans in Europe yes. They didnt care/want to watch it but it was basically aimed at them.

It needed to be aimed at the average American viewer who has never seen Eurovision before BUT could lead them to it afterwards.

Ironically I rewatched the #AmericanSongContest final tonight and wanted to reiterate a few things that the contest needs to actually be successful. A 🧵:
