@KeeThomasMDT@TolaAdeola If they get a lenient punishment of course they'll stay, City fans love them, they see them as God's, and if the premier league and the government are lenient on their punishment, who will force them out? They aren't going anywhere anytime soon.
@KeeThomasMDT@TolaAdeola Its not far off what you said buddy. If they can get away with corruption because they did a few good deeds, might as well just hand them thr keys to the castle, you are already giving them a free pass to do as they wish from this point out
@ndilichi1261151 What on earth are you talking about? Countless people are born into a family that support random teams, be it local or not. The difference is they will still support their team through good and bad, rhe difference is if city was no longer bank rolled by dubai, you'd be gone too.
@dankthemanc I think you are failing to grasp that city have already been found guilty, so now the burden of proof is on them to show they are not guilty. Perhaps by showing this irrefutable evidence that they somehow failed to show in the first place?
@rachejjlblue35 Might have been one of those people that benefited from Jimmy Savile raising money to open up a hospital wing too, but ah you know, he still broke the law and was a disgusting person.
@_MancityGee "Just speculation and selective leaks" my guy, they've been found guilty in a court, where in your brain do you make this shit up? ππ
@JClaytoo@jimmymcbride1 There are meltdowns for funny reasons, and meltdowns for serious reasons, in this case if you can use political and state power to win a case in a sporting environment, integrity of the sport is gone, political corruption rears its ugly head on a grand scale.I'd say its justified
@FergiesRightRef Honor? What is honorable about using political intimidation tactics in a sporting environment? This isn't honorable, its corruption, its the furthest thing from honorable you can think of, the honorable thing is showing the evidence you have in a fair manner, guilty or not guilty
@Bobmcphail1872 I'd happily accpet a brand new premiership if it means getting rid of state ownership, even if by some miracle, city prove their innocence, there is a right way and wrong way to prove it, they've tried intimidation tactics of a massive political level and that shouldn't happen.
@SteWinny "Via their other companies like Etihad" my guy, you yourself have just admitted with that statement that city owners pumped their money into the club themselves rather through general sponsorship means you absolute turnip π
