Anyways, ask how your friends are doing. Support the things they start. Help them keep it up. It may seem like just a journal. But it may save their life. It might help them find God, again and again. Your “what are you up to” might heal in a way you can’t yet see. Mustard seeds.
I encourage you all to try a tech free day in these times of isolation.
Read a book, connect with the ones you co-habitate with, play a game, pick up that old hobby, cook a great meal.
There's no time like the present.
Hell is real. But, so is Heaven.
Hate is real. But, so is love.
Evil is real. But, so is good.
Satan is real. But, so is God.
It’s not that we are exempt from evil or hate, but that we recognize the reality of the victory we have when we put our identity in Christ.
Christians can go to counseling.
Christians can be on medications.
Christians can have depression.
Christians can have anxiety.
AND CHRISTIANS CAN HAVE HOPE that one day Jesus will wipe away every tear & heal every illness. Chemical imbalances can’t overpower Christ on the cross.
I've always told myself I'd never stop learning... This fall I'm going back to school after a 3 year hiatus. I'll be studying something way outside of my current occupational scope. #SpiritLeadMe
My friends: "Can you stop forcing your weird lifestyle on the rest of us?"
Me **from my second hand pedal bike**: "CAN YOU JUST PUT THE EXPIRED QUINOA IN THE RIGHT COMPOST BIN NEXT TIME?"
My girlfriend has been away for <24hours and I've already applied to some random school and listed my spare rooms on Airbnb for no good reason.
She's my impulse control, someone stop me.
My girlfriend having a long term illness has taught me many things about patience and loving like Jesus. It's also taught me a lot about how the female human brain functions.
Eg. **Yelling from bathroom between puking**
