@albarezd@KendallRogers That’s not what I’m saying at all. If midweek games didn’t matter, they wouldn’t be played. Too many midweek loses can lower your rpi and too many midweek losses to teams in the 100+ rpi could be the difference in hosting a regional or not
@albarezd@KendallRogers Losing midweek games hurts your RPI no matter how you finish in conference. If you go 30-0 in conference but 0-25 in non-con/midweek and finish 30-25 that’s not good. Midweek games matter. Some loses just don’t hurt as bad as others
@LFLatMSU If they didn’t matter, they wouldn’t be played. I’ve never thought they didn’t matter but getting beat by teams like Texas State, San Diego, etc. just sucks lol
@ArkansasBoy_8 @wi11iam5aar0n@KendallRogers In all honesty, they’ll either be in the Starkville, Oxford, or Fayetteville regional and give all three of us hell
@albarezd@KendallRogers All games matter. I don’t get why people say that. Some may not be as bad of a loss but all 56 games in fact, do matter. Of course it’s an LSU fan saying that
@stank_dawg@HailStateSB That’s what I said... but what I’m saying is they look good before conference play and once it starts they look like a middle of the pack/bottom of the table team
@cajundawg@dawgsmack It doesn’t take 7 years to rebuild though. I agree, Ray left it in shambles but Howland’s gotten us far as he can take us. We need someone new to build off what he’s done. Now on the other hand, The only sport I trust Cohen making a hire in is baseball
