While I value reading and math, I wonder what society would look like if K-12 obsessed over science and history in the same way. Lots of people can identify a book's theme and figure out the area of a circle but don't seem to understand the basic events happening in our world.

@PattyGilham @WeVideo Q4: cont.. I said it for the last question, but I still love opportunities for students to pick what they are reading! 2nd grade is SUCH an important time for kids to "decide" how they feel about reading. Giving them choice with books they want on Epic helps! #mpcschat
