The attempt to paint Talarico, and actual Texan, as not manly enough is a truly bizarre effort by the GOP to undermine his campaign. Paxton can't run on his record, his reputation, or his character, so all they have left is character assassination. Nevermind that Paxton is a carpetbagger, and I've never seen him in a cowboy hat.
Useless, I know, but just imagine a Dem President being like "Everything about these red necks in WV and Kentucky is gross. Smells like disgusting coal. They're all cracked out on fentanyl and are missing teeth. Everything about those places is dirty. It's really all of them."
Tim Dylan asks a very Obvious Question:
If the Save Act is necessary to stop Democrats from Stealing Elections, how did Republicans win the House, Senate and The Presidency in 2024 with no Save Act?
What changed?
Trump claimed his tariffs would bring about a golden age of American manufacturing.
Yet since his re-election, we've lost 75,000 manufacturing jobs. Over the same period, Biden had created 625,000.
Raphael Warnock: “Donald Trump lost Georgia in 2020. That’s not my opinion, it’s a fact. The votes were counted, recounted, audited, and litigated. He lost, he lost, he lost. He’s trying to sow doubt on the integrity of our elections in Georgia so he can create the pretext to interfere in 2026. This president is a liar, a cheater, and a fraud and he has shown us over and over again that staying in power matters more to him than anything else”
In case the President needs a refresher — we went to court against him and his allies 43 times in 2020 to defend our free and fair elections.
He went 0-43.
We're going to keep protecting our democracy –– and we will never let Donald Trump succeed in undermining the will of the people here in Pennsylvania.
Trump says Democrats forgot to rig the election in 2016, successfully rigged it while *he* was president in 2020, then forgot how to rig it again in 2024. So the only election Democrats supposedly stole was the one he himself controlled.
You have to be a special kind of stupid to believe this bullshit.
Asking tourists to volunteer 5 years of their social media history, and granting them entrance based on whether right-wing bureaucrats personally agree with their personal posts is what authoritarian regimes do.
This will decimate U.S. tourism.
I'm still not over how unhinged it is that @KatieMiller, after melting down and playing the victim for no reason, threatened to have her husband take away @cenkuygur's citizenship.
Not an actual quote, but she basically was like: "How dare you say that thing that hurts my feelings?!? I'm going to have my husband revoke your citizenship, arrest you, and kick you out of the country!!!"
These are the "free speech" people?
The most powerful animating force in my former political party is Christian Nationalism. It’s anti-freedom, it’s utterly un-American, and it goes against Jesus’s teachings. It’s perfectly expressed here by Brandon Gill. And we all need to wake up to it.👇
Majorie Taylor Greene:
"Prices have not come down at all. The job market is extremely difficult. Wages have not gone up. Health insurance is going up. Home insurance goes up. Rent is going up. Young people have no hope of buying a home."
The story of 2024 is this: Trump had a plan to destroy US government called Project 2025, which had, literally, not a typo, 4% approval. He lied constantly and said he wouldn't do it.
Then he entered office and immediately implemented AN EVEN MORE EXTREME VERSION OF IT.
