Aurélien Tchouaméni remains one to watch. #mufc have held a long-standing interest in the midfielder, but it remains to be seen if Real Madrid will come to the table.
Florentino Pérez attempted to shut down speculation earlier this week, insisting Tchouaméni will not leave the club. However, with plenty of moving parts at the Bernabéu this summer, some in Spain believe the situation is not completely closed [@TyMarshall_MEN]
🚨 Manchester United have pulled out of the race to sign Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson, leaving Manchester City in a stronger position to land the player. United were interested, but they’ve now decided not to continue pursuing the deal.
United were not prepared to pay Nottingham Forest’s asking price of more than €115M for Anderson, which ultimately led to their withdrawal from the transfer race. [@DailyMirror] #mufc

Kobbie Mainoo was frozen out & disrespected by Ruben Amorim for over a year, to the detriment of his career & his club. He was written off & abused by fans not of Manchester United, but his former coach.
How good must he be feeling today, heading to his first World Cup at the age of 21. He kept his head down, worked hard & instantly recaptured his form after returning to the first team, vital to his team's form.
What a player & what a talent. The present & the future for his club & his country.
Because we were a top club then. I'm not a big fan of Adidas but that new away kit of real, is a really good effort.
And if it was the kit anywhere in 2003-2011 it would be viewed of as an all timer
I’m sorry but Manchester United seriously need to consider going back to Nike.
At least those kits had identity, attitude, and actually looked like a top club.
🚨I keep thinking about what could’ve been if we’d taken maximum points against Everton, AFC Bournemouth, Burnley, Leeds United, West Ham United, Nottingham Forest, and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Dropped points in those games hurt even more now when you see how inconsistent the teams at the very top have been.
This genuinely feels like a season that could’ve been ours if just a few moments had gone differently.
Painful to think about. Encouraging at the same time. Because if we’re this close now… imagine next season.

South American players with the most goals in Manchester United history:
🇦🇷 34 - Carlos Tevez
🇦🇷 27 - Alejandro Garnacho
🇪🇨 25 - Antonio Valencia
🇧🇷 22 - Casemiro ⬆️
Bruno Fernandes has now registered 12 Premier League assists this season 🌟🅰️
The record currently stands at 20, held by Thierry Henry & Kevin de Bruyne...👀
Scholes and Butt owe Lisandro Martinez an apology. Laughed at him before the game but he was immense, kept a clean sheet and kept Erling Haaland so quiet he finished the game on the bench.
I know it's only one game etc but that's fucking brilliant. Best performance I've seen from us in god knows how long. Whole team deserved that, Dorgu especially. Let's go YANITED
Think this was a big red flag on Cunha before we signed him. He had significantly outperformed xG as had BM and now the chickens are coming home to roost.
Matheus Cunha has the lowest conversion rate (6.90%) of any player to have taken 40+ shots in the Premier League this season.
Needs to be more clinical moving forward. 🎯
🚨🗣️ @RobDorsettSky:
"I was told when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer met with Jason Wilcox he understandably, to a large extent said 'if I do a good job and get you UCL, what is the reward? I'd like something written into my contract that says if I achieve that, then there is a substantive contract at the end of it.'
No such requests from Michael Carrick significantly, he has played a blinder here and managed the situation very, very well - he knows the best way for him to get the job long term at Man Utd is to get Champions League football, to win matches and get the crowd behind him and he has the perfect opportunity to do that with 17 games of the Premier League remaining."
