After 33 seasons and 482 wins, Coach Dave Faust is retiring as the all-time wins leader in the 9th Region and a true SHDHS legend. Not just a coach, but a builder of character and a mentor who has shaped generations with integrity, passion, and heart.
Thank you, Coach Faust!
Why Not Both?
@NickGoepper is the most successful man in #XGames Ski Slopestyle history, with 4 gold. But he wanted to conquer SuperPipe too. Barely 18 months after beginning his new discipline, he’s an #XGamesAspen 2025 SuperPipe gold medalist. He’s the 3rd man to capture both slope and pipe; it was last done when Tanner Hall won XG Aspen 2008 SuperPipe. “There’s a new champ in Aspen…AND IT’S NICK GOEPPER!” Gep screamed in celebration. He’s not wrong.
@MonsterEnergy
There will never be another like Pete Rose! He battled his entire life, making it to the Big Leagues on determination and grit. He wanted to win every game and get 3 , no make that 4…no, 5 hits everyday. He won batting title because he had the desire and the goal. He wanted Ty Cobb’s record.
Will we ever see this again? 13 seasons of 190+ hits. 3,562 games played. 5,929 times on base. Rookie of the Year, All Star, Gold Glover, Silver Slugger, MVP and World Series Champion. A local kid from Cincinnati who became a King.
We were teammates, business partners and more importantly, in spite of what everyone thought, we were friends. I will miss him dearly.
Jeff Brohm becomes the first coach to take teams to two different Power Five conference championship games in back-to-back seasons.
He took Purdue to the Big Ten Championship vs. Michigan last year and will lead the Cards against Florida State in the ACC Championship on Dec. 2.
