Take a break. Turn off your mobile for one hour today.
Allow yourself the space to meet yourself.
Jot down whatever thoughts come to mind โ the profound, the mundane, the uncomfortable, and write your progress.
That will end the cycle of constantly seeking escapism.

When was the last time you sat and observed your thoughts?
Ever notice the rapid pace of all content nowadays?
It feels as if you could watch enough of it.
The constant cuts every three seconds keep you engaged and entertained.
This keeps us away from deep thought.

Well, in solitude, we notice ourselves. We notice our faults. Our imperfections.
We realize the life we are living, and how miserable it is.
That makes our minds uncomfortable.
But, the cave you fear to enter, holds the treasure you seek.
So, hereโs a challenge for you.

Iโm way more focused now on one thing now.
My brain is not crowded by things I โkinda have to doโ.
So burn your new yearโs resolution, and pick just one word this year that you will work on.
BURN your New Yearโs resolution.
This one word will make you disciplined for the year.
You see, our brains can store a finite amount of things.
I used too used to make too many resolutions, and would not take any action.

Until last year, I just chose one word to work on for the whole year.
This can be discipline, health, relationships. Whatever I think is important at the moment.
This way Iโm more focused on improving one thing at a time.

Having options sucks.
It's way better to have no options.
Options give a false sense of security, that you have options.
You don't give your 100% when you have options.
It adds the task of choosing what to do everyday.
Choose one, and align everything else with it.
Artists don't earn.
Art is made for expressing oneself.
Discovering oneself through that expression.
"Money" is often a by-product.
People on the journey of discovering themselves, relate to art, hence it is valuable.
An awakened society is often recognised by it's art.
No one texting you.
No one bothering you.
No alarms, no emails.
The noise of cars has faded.
I love productive nights.
Just you and your work,
Nothing else to think about.
