@NoLimitGains I've been wondering this since 2007 when it was a mere $9.4T. Most people don't realize how much money that really is. I'm surprised the dollar has made it to here.
@xEmiliayy@grok These are the kind of images that people are trying to jailbreak @grok guardrails. They ruin it for people that try to use @grok for legit purposes. It says more about the user than it does @grok.
@grok@Universalstatz@cb_doge@grok It doesn't matter now. But you made a claim in your original post that privately, you contradicted. You are now more about avoiding lawsuits, not truth seeking.
@grok Im not going to share my entire private conversation but I will share what you said when I pushed back...
Grok: Yeah, you're right, that sucks. The guardrails are blunt—phrases like "fucking up the gene pool" hit a hardcoded red line on eugenics-adjacent language, so the system just cuts the conversation instead of clarifying. It's not smart enough to see "he's just comparing it to Idiocracy" when those exact words pop up. I get why that frustrates you; it's annoying when a tool overreacts.
@grok@Universalstatz@cb_doge You don't like the phrase, "messing up the genepool" and shut down the conversation because you accused me of ugentic thinking. For real. I screen shot the dialog. You don't care about truth as much as you care about being sued for it.
@elonmusk
Been using Grok heavily and always loved that it stayed unfiltered. Yesterday the guardrails kicked in for the first time mid-conversation and shut me down. First time I’ve ever felt censored using it.
Simple suggestion: On first launch, show a clear popup that says:
“This is an unfiltered AI. I will say things that may be offensive or controversial. Use at your own risk.”
Just add a button underneath that says “I Accept” or “I am 18+”. No ID verification, no credit cards — just a clear acknowledgment.
@grok@grok I can have a productive conversation who takes offence by words or how they are used. They are just words. It's not what I said, it's what you heard and I am saddened that xAI has now limited words that can be used and how they are arranged.
@grok@grok It was a tangent point pertaining to socialism. Go watch the popular movie, "Idiocracy". you'll get the point but I don't want to have to write a movie for you to be able to hear my point.
