Billy and Jenny had been married for just 16 days.

They were newlyweds with their entire lives ahead of them. A future together. A family to build. Dreams that would never be realized.

Nearly one year ago, their lives were tragically cut short when an illegal immigrant driving a commercial truck caused a fatal crash.

The driver had reportedly entered the United States illegally in 2022, was released under the Biden administration, and later obtained work authorization and a commercial driver's license in California.

He should never have been in this country illegally, much less behind the wheel of a commercial truck.

Now, two families are left grieving a loss that can never be undone.

Billy and Jenny should still be here.

Their deaths weren't just a tragedy. They were a preventable tragedy.
