They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
A cold & wet afternoon, but thank you very much to the residents who joined me for this afternoon’s #BorrasInBloom bulb planting project! Over 150+ bulbs planted — and still more to do! @wrexham
A new one year 50% business rates discount for retail, hospitality, & leisure sectors.
A tax cut worth almost £1.7bn and with Small Business Rates Relief over 90% of all these businesses will see a discount of at least 50%.
Taken together, today we cut business rates by £7bn.
Good to go and help @JeremyWrexham in the Gresford Ward by-election with @TomGiffard.

🛳️ Developing Holyhead port is a huge aspect of the North Wales growth deal in bringing prosperity to North Wales, and is vital to our economic relationship with Ireland.
🗣️ I asked the First Minister what he’ll do to provide certainty to ensure this project is delivered ASAP.
🥀 Yet again the First Minister refuses to agree to a Wales-only inquiry into his government’s handling of Coronavirus.
🔍 Key decisions that had an impact on people’s lives in Wales were made in Wales. They must be scrutinised in Wales.
Disappointing to see the First Minister again rejecting calls for a Wales-specific inquiry into the Welsh Government’s handling of COVID.
Labour ministers made decisions that had a huge impact on people’s lives in Wales. And they deserve full, independent scrutiny here in Wales.
🥀 The pressure is mounting on Welsh Labour Ministers avoiding scrutiny and accountability
🦠 The costs of Covid and lockdowns must be evaluated in a way that is transparent to people across the world
❓ Everyone deserves answers from their government, so why are they hiding?
🥀 Labour’s immediate priority should be protecting jobs and delivering a stronger economy in Wales.
❌ Instead, they want to see their fantasy idea of universal basic income introduced.
