Excited to share our new study revealing the intricate dynamics of pregnancy & postpartum physiology! We analyzed 40M lab tests from 300K pregnancies and 160K women (cross-sectional),
we mapped week-by-week changes starting from preconception to months-long postpartum recovery.
Excited to share our latest work in @NatureMedicine: The first cellular and molecular atlas of the endometrium in #PCOS generated using snRNA-seq and spatial transcriptomics. Great collaboration @Gustaw Eriksson @Congru Li @QiaolinDeng @SophiePetropoulos. https://t.co/zHhVBqJZzR

@carldiaz92@Nature That is a really interesting questions- it’s not well known how tissue-resident immune cells sense and respond to sex hormones. Deeper investigation is indeed needed!

Today was the last day of the mucosal immunology course for PhD students, 4th edition!
The course is co-organized with @WillingerLab and we had amazing teachers, including @williamagace , @angelettilab , @MjosbergL , @SrustidharD , @EvaSverremark , @consiglio_cr and others!
The students were outstanding- lot of great questions and engaging discussions!!
Looking forward to organizing the 5th edition!
1/4 We are thrilled to share that we were awarded with Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation @KAWstiftelsen Grant!🎉
The project is titled- Neoantigen Identification with Dendritic Cell Reprogramming & was supported with 35 million SEK for the next 5 years.

Each month an #egg is ovulated from the #ovary, starting the journey of reproduction. But how does ovulation occur?🥚
Our latest work in @NatureCellBio led by @LastChrisThomas and @Tabea_Marx, describes the control of #ovulation using live imaging.

Biological sex influences disease risk, progression, & treatment. This review collection, edited by @be_stranger, highlights the potential to leverage sex-dependent mechanisms to optimize therapies across medicine
One of the X chromosomes in females is silenced with a microscopically distinct chromatin configuration. Happy to share our latest work on deciphering how the X chromosome folds during its inactivation for the first time in mouse female embryos!
