5 PEOPLE YOU MUST BE CAREFUL NOT TO TURN INTO YOUR ENEMIES, NO MATTER HOW BADLY THEY HURT YOU.

1. PEOPLE GOD HAS USED TO HELP YOU.
Never allow present pain to make you rewrite your entire history with someone. Acknowledge the good without excusing the wrong.
📖 1 Thessalonians 5:18 — “In every thing give thanks.”

2. PEOPLE WHO HAVE HURT YOU.
Your pain is valid, but revenge is not your assignment. Don't let another person's actions pull you into disobedience to God.
📖 Romans 12:19 — “Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.”

3. PEOPLE WHO ARE WEAKER THAN YOU.
Never use your position, influence, or strength to crush someone who cannot defend themselves. God takes oppression seriously.
📖 Proverbs 22:22–23 — “Rob not the poor, because he is poor… For the LORD will plead their cause.”

4. PEOPLE WHO PERSECUTE OR OPPOSE YOU.
Not everyone who stands against you deserves your hatred. You can stand for truth without surrendering your heart to bitterness.
📖 Luke 6:27 — “Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you.”

5. PEOPLE WHO REPENT OF THEIR WRONGS.
When someone genuinely repents, don't make their past mistake a permanent weapon against them. Extend the mercy you also need from God.
📖 Luke 17:3–4 — “If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.”

ONE THING TO REMEMBER: Biblical forgiveness does not mean tolerating abuse, restoring broken trust overnight, or allowing people to keep hurting you. You can forgive, establish boundaries, and walk away without hatred.

📖 Ephesians 4:31–32 — Put away bitterness and forgive one another, even as God for Christ's sake has forgiven you.

You are feeding your flesh all day long, and then wondering why your spirit keeps losing.

Now listen carefully.

Inside every believer there is a war.

"For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would." (Galatians 5:17)

Your spirit says forgive.
Your flesh says stay angry.

Your spirit says trust God.
Your flesh says panic.

Your spirit says walk away.
Your flesh says send the message.

And then you cry out, "God, why am I struggling so much?"

Because you are feeding one of them every day, and starving the other.

You scroll for two hours, but you cannot find ten minutes for the Word of God.
You know every opinion online, every controversy, every headline.
But you do not know what God has said.

Then we wonder why we are anxious.
Why we are angry.
Why temptation keeps beating us.
Why we keep questioning who we are.

Everything else has been telling you who to be, while the one Book that tells you who God made you to be stays closed.

Jesus Himself answered the devil with food language.

"It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God." (Matthew 4:4)

Notice that. Not by a Sunday sermon alone. Not by someone else's devotion alone. By every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

At some point, you must eat for yourself.

And do not say, "I do not understand the Bible."

You did not understand reading when you started school either. You learned one line at a time, one page at a time.

So begin small. Five verses. One chapter. Read it. Ask questions. Come back tomorrow.

You are not reading to become the master of the Bible.
You are reading to know the Master.

"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me." (John 10:27)

The more you know His Word, the more clearly you recognise His voice. And the more clearly you recognise His voice, the weaker the voice of your flesh becomes.

"This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh." (Galatians 5:16)

Stop starving the person you are praying to become.

Open the Book.

I DECLARE THAT I WILL FEED MY SPIRIT DAILY. THE WORD OF GOD WILL BE MY BREAD, HIS VOICE WILL BE MY GUIDE, AND MY SPIRIT WILL RULE OVER MY FLESH.

I'll tell you an interesting story. Herod had just killed James the brother of John, and had Peter thrown in prison. The church was praying fervently for Peter's release. While they were still praying, an angel appeared to Peter and released him. Peter arrived at Mary's house where the disciples had gathered to pray. The househelp, Rhoda, went to check who was at the door and when she saw Peter, she went to inform the people praying for his release and they said it was a lie that it couldn't have been Peter.

This means, they were praying for his release while still not believing that he would be released. They were praying for his release, he got released and came to them and they said it couldn't have been him. My point is, just because your faith is low doesn't mean God won't step in. He will do as he pleases. Be kinder to yourselves. God understands.

His grace is sufficient for you and His power is perfected in your weakness. So boast about your weakness that His power may be made perfect in you.
- 2 Cor 12:9

Having faith in that instance doesn't still mean that the person would not die. But faith affects how you experience death or life. Life is just a series of trials.

These trials only to test your faith to see whether or not it is strong and pure. It is being tested as fire tests gold and purifies it - and your faith is far more precious to God than mere gold; so if your faith remains strong after being tested, it will bring you much praise and glory and honour on the day of His return.
